Dear Friends:

I am pleased to announce that we have some fantastic additions to our 2008-09 season.

We will be presenting the World Premiere of Blair Singer's play The Most Damaging Wound. Blair's credits include Placement (four LA Weekly Award nominations), writing on the 5th Season of Monk, and writing on the 3rd season of the hit Showtime series Weeds. I have recently had the opportunity to get to know Blair and his work and I could not be prouder to be introducing it to New York audiences. The Most Damaging Wound will be running from November 6-30 and we are thrilled that we will be joining the good people at Manhattan Theatre Source for this production!

Next up is the American Premiere of the acclaimed new Australian play Love by Patricia Cornelius in March 2009. Patricia is one of Australia's master playwrights and introducing this beautiful, devastating play to New York theatergoers has been at the top of my must-do list. I am very honored that my friend Blake Lawrence from Keen Company will be joining us to direct Love.

"That's so exciting!" you say? Well, we agree and on Monday, August 25, we'll be celebrating the launch of our fourth season at Common Ground in the East Village. We hope you can join us for a fun and rewarding Trivia Night, starting at 7 p.m. and featuring awesome prizes for trivia champs. Come on down to say hello and help us celebrate!
